My goodness. I just took a magnificent handheld walking tour through the pages of our own book!  What a beautiful thing you’ve done here. The “Wisdom Note” on The Go-Giver is a joy to read — I especially love how thoughtfully and carefully you have cross-referenced the points of our little story to so many wonderful sources of wisdom, traversing the centuries from Plato and Seneca to Kiyosaki — incredible job!  After reading your entire piece I’m thinking, I really want to meet these guys Burg and Mann!

Brief Background to The Go-Giver Wisdom Note

The subtitle of this book is “A Little Story About a Powerful Business Idea” but you know what, tucked away on page 82 of the version I read (and re-read within 7 days), is a more powerful truth about this “Little Story”;  

“A genuinely sound business principle will apply anywhere in life – in your friendships, in your marriage, anywhere. That’s the true bottom line. Not whether it simply improves your financial balance sheet, but whether it improves your life’s balance sheet.”

And that’s how I will write this Wisdom Note showing exactly how the wisdom contained in The Go-Giver can be applied to our daily life to improve our “true bottom line.”
